Ireland Knitting Escape
7 Night Knitting Retreat
Join Más Travelled as we venture from Dublin to Kilkenny Ireland on a knitting centered retreat. We’ll be immersing ourselves in all things knit—from sheep farms to woolen mills and yarn shops. We made sure to sprinkle in a few non-knitting activities as well—such as falconry walks, picnics, and castle visits. With daily knitting happy hours, you’ll wind down each day while working on your current WIP with a beverage of choice in hand—all while you recap your Irish adventures with your new found knit-loving friends.

Where We Stay
While we’re in Dublin, we’ll be staying at The Green Hotel—a boutique hotel in the heart of the city. With a thoughtfully designed interior and conveniently located adjacent to St. Stephen’s Green, it’s the perfect home base as we explore the city.
After Dublin, we’ll be making our way to Kilkenny where we’ll be staying at the gorgeous Lyrath Estate. A 17th century house sitting on 170 acres of Kilkenny countryside, Lyrath Estate is a picturesque backdrop for sitting back to knit with your new-found friends. This will be our jumping point as we explore all that the area has to offer, but we’ll keep plenty of time to enjoy the gorgeous grounds as well. Picnics on the property, evening knit happy hours at the estate, falconry walks, and their renowned spa—all that’s missing is your latest WIP with your newly purchased Irish yarn.

I have a non-knitting friend or partner, can they come?
Of course! Knitters and non-knitters alike are welcome to join. If you have a non-knitting friend or partner who would like to join, there are plenty of other activities that they can enjoy.
How many people will there be on the retreat?
We believe in keeping groups small to help foster friendships and to better immerse ourselves into the local culture. This trip will have a maximum of 10 attendees.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes! If you bring a friend, you both will receive $100 off the trip cost.
Do you welcome solo travelers?
We love solo travelers! We keep our small groups small for a reason—to help foster connections and build friendships. With our nightly group knitting happy hours and dinners, it’s a time for everyone to connect and think back on the fun we had each day.
